Teenager suggested I do a blog about unschooling so here we are! Although teenager isn't unschooled (she's about to take her GCSE's having spent her whole childhood in formal education) she embraces what I am doing with youngest who is 9 and has been unschooled for nearly a year now.
At first I thought I was 'home-schooling' but having settled into ourselves and found our rhythms, I can definitely say we are 'unschooling'. It feels right, it feels true and it feels good. I have a far happier daughter (and obviously a happier mum).
